1. Troubleshoots, repairs, and replaces heating source and water heaters in residential homes. (Dual pack units, wall furnace, direct vent furnace, and FAU.)
2. Operates a variety of equipment such as hand tools and diagnostic instruments (monoxers and duct blaster).
3. Provides a materials list and an accurate estimate in order to complete jobs.
4. Prioritizes and manages different tasks to be completed.
5. Follows all safety regulations.
6. Ensures quality and compliance of all installations and repairs to utility standards and city building codes.
7. Follows and implements verbal and written directions.
8. Cleans and fine tunes furnace and FAUs.
9. Documents and reports work performed to ensure accurate billing.
10. Loads and unloads materials from trucks as needed.
11. Ensures client satisfaction by exhibiting consideration, courtesy, professionalism and promptness in carrying out all duties of the program.
12. Travels to meetings, trainings, and program update meetings/conferences, as needed.

5. Maintain files of all grant contracts, MOU’s, and other school-related contracts.

8. Processes all of division’s ordering and PR/PO entries, and assists with getting bids.

9. Distributes office and classroom supplies to staff throughout the sites.

10. Processes instructors’ requests for students’ checks and follow up with Fiscal Department to ensure receipt in a timely manner.

11. Prepares and submits students’ tuition invoices according to sponsoring agencies guidelines.

12. Follows up with sponsoring agencies to obtain contracts and for revisions on contracts and/or student timecards.

13. Ensures the student is set up using the Accufund system.

14. Distributes Completion of Training form for internal student referrals.

15. Keeps inventory on all school equipment and assists with technology planning.

SUMMARY: Assists in providing an array of beneficial management and support to peer sections within the Energy Division.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:

1. Responsible for the day to day operations and oversight of multiple warehouse personnel.

2. Maintains a clean, orderly warehouse. This responsibility extends to internal and external (mobile) warehouse locations overseen and controlled by the Energy Division.

3. Supervisory oversight and responsibility of section assigned staff which include but not limited to Inventory Control Specialist, Warehouse Assistant, and any temporary or future staff assigned to assist.

4. Responsible for coordinating with all Energy Division to assure needed inventory items are regularly in stock and appropriate levels are maintained to limit Division stock liability and avoiding work stoppage due to lack of inventory.

5. Assist with future grant opportunities including but not limited to product sourcing and cost effective analysis.

6. Property oversight, including leased Energy Division locations and Training Facilities.

7. Continuous oversight, control, maintenance, and review of appropriate vehicle utilization.

8. Tracking all vehicle data to assure the vehicles are maintained properly, identify unsafe or inappropriate driving habits. Provide routine reporting to peer sections as needed for dissemination of appropriate maintenance and vehicle utilization.

9. Responsible for Energy Division safety enforcement across all facets of the operation. Provide guidance across all job duties and maintain division safety reporting.

10. Utilize software systems including but not limited to Margin Point, Accufund, Excel, Word, POSSE, including dedicated or proprietary system needed or utilized by the Energy Division.

11. Development of ad hock reports including but not limited to section inventory and budgets, inventory discrepancies, safety inspections, vehicle utilization, and development of processes and/or procedures which may impact the entire Division or sub sections.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS: Access to transportation, California driver’s license, and minimum auto insurance as required by law. Must maintain good driving record.
